Politics and Cordel Literature

A collection of eleven articles on the cordel literature pamphlet as an alternative, popular, and counter-hegemonic informative medium, along with two appendices, published in conference proceedings and scientific journals in the fields of Communication and Folkcommunication.

Nine of the articles resulted from innovative bibliographical research on cordel literature, taking the informative pamphlet as its object of study and emphasizing pamphlets about characters, themes, and facts related to politics.

Two of the articles resulted from empirical research: one on the coverage of the removal of President Dilma Rousseff through report-poems, and the other on the practices and representations of poet-reporters in that same removal process.
