Members of the Network have access to invitations for collective research, publications, preliminary proposals for events and cultural projects. If you share with us more than just objects, but a way of looking at the phenomenon of communication, this is the place for you.
Values
R$ 100.00 for teachers and professionals;
R$ 50.00 for postgraduate students;
R$ 25.00 for undergraduate students;

Who can become a member?
Researchers, professors, and students not only from communication but also from related fields can join the Folkcom Network, provided they dedicate themselves to the scientific analysis of media phenomena or communication processes as understood by Folk Communication theory, taking into account new objects of study and the strengthening of their methodologies. In addition to masters and doctoral degree holders, specialists, postgraduate students (both lato sensu and stricto sensu), and undergraduate students are also included.
Why join?
Your annual fee is important so that the Network can meet its tax obligations in the process of formalizing its CNPJ (Brazilian tax ID); so that we can remain affiliated with the Brazilian Federation of Scientific and Academic Associations of Communication (Socicom); and so that we can fund the publication of books resulting from our meetings or collective research.
From the member's perspective, keeping their annual dues up to date is a way to strengthen the Network to which they belong, which offers them:
• Greater academic recognition, by officially participating in a research network with over 20 years of experience;
• Possibility of using the Folkcom Network portal and social media as channels for disseminating your activities;
• Possibility of using the portal as a channel for centralized distribution of your dissertations, theses, essays, and technical reports;
• Opportunity to participate in research projects and works organized by the Folkcom Network.
