This article seeks to identify the folk-communicational characteristics present in football through the activist as a socializing agent. To this end, the object of study is suited to the demand created by folk-communication, considering it a social project conceived and executed outside the socio-political and economic system common to the dominant classes. In this sense, it becomes important to understand sport as an instrument of social inclusion and a tool that allows us to characterize community leadership as folk-communicational activism. All this stemmed from a father's need to offer his son a leisure option, and once the lack of spaces designed for such activity was noted, not only was the desire to claim them awakened, but the opportunity to reinvent and transform the local reality also arose. Hence the conclusion that although public authorities are flawed and negligent regarding many social aspects, it was precisely their absence that allowed the awakening of our communicational agent. This clearly does not justify the omission nor exempt the public authorities from their responsibilities, but it was from the combination of this problem with a passion for football that the folk-communication activist was born.
